Dr Eujin Pei

Eujin’s research interest focuses on Functionally Graded Additive Manufacturing (FGAM) that falls under the EPSRC’s theme of Manufacturing the Future. FGAM uses Additive Manufacturing processes to produce functional parts, establishing a radical shift from contour modelling to performance modelling. He is the Programme Director for the BSc Product Design and BSc Product Design Engineering courses at Brunel University London. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a Chartered Technological Product Designer (CTPD). He is the Convenor for ISO/TC261/WG4 that develops Data Transfer and Design Standards for Additive Manufacturing, and Chair for BSI/AMT/8 that publishes National Standards for Additive Manufacturing. He is the Managing Editor for the Progress in Additive Manufacturing Journal; Associate Editor for the Assembly Automation Journal and the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing; as well as Editorial Board Member for the Rapid Prototyping Journal. He is a full member of the EPSRC Peer Review College which assesses national proposals for funding research in engineering and the physical sciences.
