Senior Research Fellow in Engineering Science, University of Oxford
Patrick is a Senior Research Fellow in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. With over ten years’ experience in optical engineering, his research is focused on short pulse laser manufacturing and adaptive optical methods. He also has a particular interest in diamond based devices for quantum technology and sensing in harsh environments. In 2017 he founded the laser manufacturing company Opsydia, which won the Institute of Physics Best Start-up award in 2019.
